*The 21st Century Woman*
A man can have it all if he chooses to walk down the path of success...My constant dilemma is, CAN A WOMAN HAVE IT ALL? Will my need of self fulfillment bite me in the arse years later? Does the world still hold double standards for women and men?

Statements...Won't men be intimidated?...Won't you be too old?...Why the massive ambition?...Will your career keep you warm at night?...DAMN THEIR FRAGILE EGO & PRIDE! I REFUSE TO BELITTLE MYSELF! Male or female, we both just want to do what makes us happy. If its being a accountant, housewife, househusband, plumber, rocket scientist, so be it! Hell yes, I'd be a fantastic mother and still wear the pants to work! DAMN THE STEREOTYPES! DAMN THE DOUBLE STANDARDS!

My dad said to me...when a man is truly confident...all he cares for is the woman's heart...do they fit? thats about it. I oppose the hero marries damsel in distress mumbojumbo! How is that a recipe for a better future? Can't we be equals in the quest to coexist? Shouldn't we feed off each others strengths and come out on top? ... ASK ME AGAIN IN A FEW YEARS

...another crazy angry female rantings over...

I soooo need a gay BFF...auditions anyone?

*Calling for MrDarcy*
Hail the queen of chick-lit...Jane Austen

I'd bought The Jane Austen Book Club book recently and started on it today. I made myself some yummy home made teh halia and the rainy weather was perfect for a day spent curled up with a good book.

I began reading and realised that JUST WATCHING THE BBC ADAPTATIONS OF AUSTEN'S BOOKS WERE NOT ENOUGH :P *I've seen em all...aaaaaah...now thats what I call romance! I couldn't remember the characters and was on a slope of increasing confusion as I kept reading!

I put the book down and headed to my local BORDERS to complete my Austen collection. God bless, they had the extremly cheap RM8 Penguin versions :))

1.Pride & Prejudice

2. Sense & Sensibility

3. Emma

4. Persuasion

4. Northanger Abbey

6. Mansfield Park

You can hunt the BBC adaptations on YouTube easily! It really is very lovely. Take a step back in time and giggle at it all. I think I've got the next few months with my nose covered in class and propriety :)) I'll have to read alil Stephen King to balance out all the mushy feelings :P

*Sharm's Baby Shower*

Well, Sharm's my cousin by law and sister by nature! We've shared soooo many moments in life since we both went to the same University, lived a floor above each other's kondo, the same circle of friends and our mums were cousins/best of friends when they were our age too :P

I still cannot believe she got married! We used to sit all night long yacking about which stud muffin was hotstuff and which wasn't...I'd scream that her taste in men was horrible. We'd gone through dating together...studying together...partying together. She was my constant shoulder to lean on in MMU. I was floored when I met the man that was going to marry her...he was pretty much the man I always knew she was capable of seducing :))

Now with Sharm eating for two and all...my mum cooked up a storm! Prawn sambal, Mutton curry, Chicken rendang, Tom Yum soup, Mix vegetables...melted choc with vanilla ice cream, nata de coco tropical punch...I always have the honours of testing mum's cooking before the guest arrives...YUMMILICIOUS H.E.A.V.E.N :)

We spent the night outside by the garden, catching up on old times and keeping the neighbours up.

Fantastic night with fantabulous company :) Congratulations again my oh so adorable cousin *no you dont look FAT...ur just pregnant...name the baby after me if its a girl?

ps: Tq MrSingh for driving me & donating $$$ for my flowers! I shan't forget my wallet ever again :P

SHORT TALK: I headed out the house swaying my hips practicing my moves for Bollywood dance class tonight...but alas, CLASS WAS CANCELLED! So I headed on to try line dancing instead :)) I had so much fun...I LEART TO SHIMMY & SHUFFLE! Yes, they are actual dance steps...I never knew that! I hope I'll have the grace the rest of the class does as they move.

*Members only :P*
WARNING: An extremely Bimbolicious Entry...will not be responsible for the creation of Shopaholics

Oooooh it was a glorious Friday...I had nothing for the day! You can tell people are getting a wee bit lazy...they've caught the Raya Hols bug :P

I told myself...Premeela...thou shall follow Porkchop and move thy booty to the gym for a cleansing routine of Hot Yoga with my Guruji Mr.Hemraj. I put on my smashing new Elle *50% off gym sweats and pack my bags.

I was sooooo close! My fon rings...few words were exchanged with mum...'Sale...members only...70%...come now!!!' With the speed of turbo heels...I zoomed into The Gardens, Midvalley for a night I would never regret *oh, happy day!

The moment I reached Isetan, I actually blinked a few times as to be sure I wasn't just dreaming it! Thing is, the sale was a members only sale and they actually had bouncers at the entrances to whack nonmembers out :P I grabbed my Isetan card out and the rest...is history!

The sale was fantastic! I'd never seen anything quite like it...Burberry at 60%? WTH? I've recently decided to focus on office wear and there were tons to choose from. My mum squealed at me...'Hey, here's a nice formal dress...try it on!'. It was black...absolutely boring...I moved to the changing room and gave it a try.

I swear...it was as if the dress was tailored to fit my body :) I've never looked as classy as I did in it. I now looked at the details...it had the exact cut of the dress Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast at Tiffany's! It had a tiny waist and flared more in comparison to Hepburn's dress...b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l neckline *clap clap! 50% off for members...Best buy ever!!! Fantastic addition to my office wardrobe.

Hungry after hours of running about...we headed to Pastis, located right infront of Isetan. Its a good deal for your $$$. Each month it has a cake of choice, and its off by 50% all month long. September is the month of yummy Carrot Cheese Cake!

Its pretty cheesy...pretty crunchy with yummy walnuts...grated carrots and splash of caramel over each slice. Its not sweet...just the right amount of cheese! Only downside is the cafe is along the walkway so you don't have much privacy.

Muahahaha...we snagged the LAST SLICE! Yeah, totally worth it :)

ps: psssst...psssst...Deepavali's coming...nothing beats shiny sparkly bombshell saree shopping! *tosses hair into the wind, wiggles hips left and right and tip toes around trees screeching...aaaaaaahhh....oooooohhhh.

*Pappa Rich-Yummy Mummy Bread*

Its been a loooooong time since I've had an absolutely horrible day...seems the time has come. I hadn't slept in 2 days...destroyed my loyal companion *HP...things just snowballed through the day.

I have the most F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C friends in the whhhhhoooooooooole universe! I wanted to go home and curl in my bed...Porkchop *Mindy came over in her four wheel monster truck, grabbed me out and we headed to Pappa Rich at Jaya Square. We talked through stuff that needed special attention...talked about equally stupid stuff causing ample giggles. The day turned for the better!

I didn't feel like having something to eat...so I ordered a mug of teh tarik. I leaned over and Mindy was munching on kaya butter on steamed bread...I sniffed it...immediately waved to the waiter to get me some too!

Can I just say...GO THERE FOR THE FREAKING YUMMY BREAD! I have an extremely fussy expectation when it comes to my toast...and I tell ya...IT WAS FANTASTIC! They have a special corner where they bake the bread...you can't help but sniff the air and want a piece.

We were wondering why there suddenly was a crowd building up...then we heard the bread baker ring his bell...signaling that fresh bread is ready...Delicious fresh Hainanese bread...I don't need expensive food baby as long as its yummy...YUM :)

ps: I've never actually been a yummy bread hunter until I met YiFen/DuDu...she hunts for free pieces of expensive bread...I bet she's running around near Jusco right now :))

*A.B.B.A!!!*

I think ABBA may have written this song with me in mind...

You can dance,

you can jive,

having the time of your life

See that girl,

watch that scene,

dig in the dancing queen

...although lil technical details such as the fact that I wasn't born yet won't stop me from believing so as I shimmy in dance classes :P

If you don't know ABBA, you've been living under a nutshell and its about time you broadened your horizons! I cannot believe its happening...You say I don't have to beg for $$$, backpack to London to get a slice of culture? You say its coming down here instead? WEEEEEEEE.....!!!!
Mamma Mia! — the world’s No.1 musical — is coming to Kuala Lumpur from London during the Christmas and New Year holiday season, making its appearance in this region for the first time.

ps: I've always believed that I belong in the Disco era :))

Antivirus XP 2008 ( AntivirusXP2008 ): is a rogue anti-spyware application that is promoted and installed by trojan. Once inside, Antivirus XP 2008 will display fake security alerts or notifications to trick user to buy the paid version of Antivirus XP 2008.

When you’re infected with rogue anti-spyware like Antivirus XP 2008, you’ll see a false popup security alert like this. You think its a routine Windows security update...and then BAM...your screen turns blue and your PC stops functioning! !#$^$#%&%^&#%^ Thing is, it harasses you into purchasing it.

Take note...always have backup...I DIDN'T!!! God bless, I managed to use the psycho PC skills I learnt at MMU to get some PC functions working just long enough to save bits of my studies and research :'(

ps: Oh yeah, Dad's killed the other remaining Desktop at home too...only Snuffles is a happy camper at home...loooooooooooooooong sigh...tiny yelp *H.E.L.P

I now know the exact destination :) After months of ...hhhhmmmm...should I...shouldn't I moments...I've decided.

I refuse to hold a piece of paper *maybe a CD these days that isn't recognised around the world. I thought maybe I'll go somewhere far...you know, experience the world, open my eyes a wee bit...funny, seems the best of the lot is closer to home than I thought. I want to be able to stand up and say 'Hell Yeah, I faught with the best!'. I want to know my full potential.

Its so close I want to squeal...thing is...would they want me and my scruffy degree on a CD? I'll die trying :)

*Poof I've grown up!*
As I strut my stuff in the lab with cute kitten heels admiring the swish of my skirt...I hear kids *by kids, I mean 20 something year old undergrads scream 'MISS....KAKAK....PREEEEMMMM....!'.

They scramble to complete experiments before the time is up. I glance hopelessly at them when results aren't achieved 'Its a really old university, thus the really old equiptments are usually faulty, include that in your report!'

I watch them, observe them if you will...the faces of the future of this nation. Some are smart punks that don't pay attention but get results anyways :)) Some are so nerdy and in their heads that they dominate the whole table :)) Some don't even speak the language and mumble at me in their mother tongue :))

Funny, I never knew why people would want to teach. It comes with horrible hours, pay and food! Thing is, there's nothing more satisfying then knowing you may have made the next Nobel price winner...maybe the next Prime Minister...the discoverer of a cancer cure! I imagine them passing on my words to their grand kids and with that I live forever!!!! *evil genius laugh...I swear I learn more from them!

POOF! HOW DID I GET HERE SO FAST?

ps: Probability exam next Sun...I will stay calm...OoOoOoOoMmMm...I am of a highly evolved intelligent species...OoOoOoMmMmMm...The library is as cool as any pub is...OoOoOoOoMmMm...Coffee is the drink of gods...OoOoOoOoMmMm...SLEEP IS EVIL!

*Rantings*
Speaking to everyone and anyone has never been a problem to me. I've always thought, if you like me so be it...if you don't that's not an issue *more like you can kiss my furry brown arse :P Obviously the human race is built of people with all sorts of personalities that either gel or cause friction.

Thing is, I've come to realise that as my circle of friends broaden there are so many people out there with lack of self love. Well, who doesn't have moments of passing by the mirror naked and wishing you had gone to the gym an hour longer.

What disturbes me is that especially with those extremely close to me,when they have a problem with loving themselves they project those feelings to the people around them. I slowly realise when I am around them, they set those unreasonable standards on me as well. Thus, leading me to have moments of inadequateness myself. Its a feeling I'm clearly not comfortable with.

They pick at every invisible flaw. My arse is droopy. I'm not intelligent enough. This pimple is ruining my life. I'm the size of a house. The thing that mortifies me is then they turn around and point at the people around them listing all their flaws as well in an effort to be sure that no one else feels superior *has it become a norm with women? I'd wish they could realise all the things in life that could have been achieved if they believed they were fantastic enough to do it.

I don't know why its so hard to believe that it is that simple. In life, ITS JUST ME...IN MOMENTS OF DOUBT, I LOOK WITHIN MYSELF FOR STRENGTH AND TRUST THAT I HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED. I am not without flaws but you're stuck with yourself. If you don't love who you are,how can you cheer yourself to reach your goals? The only constant in your life is yourself...DUH :P

ps: I just watched the Love Guru...causing me to analyze a lifetime worth of data...thus the rantings...LOL

ps: This entry is dedicated to my boy toy loving friend DuDu because grown men aren't her type :P

Wooohhhooooo...the days of mancandy-less is over!!! Dramas are back for a new season!

I know I say 'I hate cheesy dramas'...'I need intelligent story lines'...'Its gotta be thought provoking'...but...but...when it comes to these shows...I DON'T REALLY CARE COS YUMMY MEN TRUMPS CHEESY STORYLINES ANYDAY.

Okay, my girls and I have a thing for brothers! Hell, whats a girl to do with siblings like these? How does one choose?

My list of yummy brothers :

1. Supernatural

They fight demons? Denny from Grey's Anatomy is their Daddy-O? He gave them their manly genes? Rockstars with an awesome car? Need I say more...double whammy. Save Dean!

2. Heroes

What??? These two saved the cheerleader...saved the world? Choosing one gets tougher....

3. Everybody Loves Raymond

Awww...come on...funny men are sexier.

4. One Tree Hill

What? They share the same father? They wear shorts and play basketball too?

5. Prison Break

I ask my sister 'You're an engineer...Would you get into prison to break me out?'

6. Frasier

These two potray the exact relationship me and my sister have. Like them, we both are of the same profession. We love being posh. You just wanna kill her but just can't seem to get rid of her.

Smart and funny men are even better!

7. Numbers

What? He's a math genius? He has shiny curls? His brother is a FBI agent?

8. Ugly Betty

Does this count? One used to be a man :P

9. My Name is Earl

*Shopaholic & Sister*
One glorious day out...one very broke booty :))

Armed with kitten heels and satin dresses, we headed to the much hyped Pick n' Brew! I had their Asian lunch set of mutton curry with feta cheese and She Who is Gay & Mighty had the yummy seafood platter.

Believe it or not, Pick n' Brew is extremely affordable for all girls about town :) The enviroment is pretty and its quite noise free. Fantastic spot to catch up with old friends!

After hours of shopping, we said ' SOMETHING CHOCOLATY!' is well deserved. The newly opened Theobrama Chocolate from Aussie at 1U's new wing is where we parked our tired feet at.

We're number one!!! One does strive to be the best at EVERYTHING :))

I'd say FORGET STARBUCKS...THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE AT! I GIVE IT 5/5 STARS *drool

I've been having so many presentations for my Masters classes recently, I'd spent the day hunting down the beginning of a fantastic office wardrobe. Forever 21's on a mega sale and if you're looking for feminine yet work friendly stuff head down there.

I scurried around Zara and OMG!!! I hunted down similar to this fantastic mini cotton + satin ruffled skirt on sale! Its a mix of cream and brown. L.O.V.E!
